What Is an Icebar?
You might think it’s too good to be true, but an icebar is exactly what you think it is: a bar where everything is made of ice! And when we say “everything,” we mean everything.
From the walls of the bar and the seats, to the glasses you sip your drinks in, pretty much everything in an icebar is made from blocks of ice! This means that when you visit one, you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience. You’ll get an idea of how an Eskimo’s life is like, except more glamorous, of course!
As our name hints, icebars are kept at -5°C (or 23°F).
About minus5° Ice Experience
Now that you know more about what an icebar is, you might be curious about what we have to offer at minus5° Ice Experience. For one, we give you an icy haven from the brutal Las Vegas heat, so come cool off with us!
We actually have 3 locations in Las Vegas. They are in Mandalay Bay, The Venetian, and the LINQ Promenade.
No matter which location you choose, as soon as you step in, we’ll take good care of you! Start off by choosing the entry package you want.
For example, you can go with the basic Cool Experience that gives you access to our icebar and use of our gloves and parkas. Or you can splurge and get the V-ICE-P Experience, which includes 2 ice cocktails, a souvenir gift, and a digital photo.
After you’ve chosen a package, you can then go in the premier ice bar in Las Vegas. We’ll provide you with clean gloves and a parka or faux fur coat, which will keep you nice and warm as you explore our icebar.
You’re free to explore our entire premises, which have fun and innovative ice sculptures all around. We also have various themed ice rooms that are fun to look at!
Tasty Drinks
What’s an icebar without an excellent bar?
Here at minus5° Ice Experience, we have a full bar and expert bartenders who will make any drink you want. However, we specialize in vodka-based cocktails, so make sure to try those!
Usually, we have an ever-changing menu of specialty cocktails that cost anywhere between $12 to $15, which is very reasonable. We serve all our drinks in ice glasses for that extra bit of fun!
For the kids, or people who don’t drink, you’ll be pleased to know that we have plenty of mocktails available too.
Family-Friendly Fun
While many young people come to party with their friends, Las Vegas is still a very family-friendly city. And minus5° Ice Experience is no exception!
We allow entire families to come experience our amazing icebar, so long as the kids are over 7 years old. They’re welcome to stay until 8:00 pm, which is when we close the bar to serve adults exclusively. Do note that all minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on our premises.
Fantastic Light Show and Music
You won’t just see ice here at minus5° Ice Experience. We put on dazzling LED light shows and play some hot tracks so it feels almost like you’re clubbing.
So grab yourself a drink, find a table, and enjoy the light show! The visual effects from the show are stunning, and they’re sure to keep your family entertained, especially your little ones.
Make Memories
Considering that it’s quite a unique experience, you’ll probably want to take plenty of pictures to remember our icebar by. Then you’ll be pleased to know that we allow you to bring your phone inside.
In fact, we encourage you to snap as many pictures as you can! Make sure you tag us and share these photos on your social media accounts.
We also have professional photographers who take pictures of guests every day. It can take up to 48 hours for your pictures to appear on our website, so you might have to be a little patient.
Once they’re uploaded, you can view the images. These have watermarks on them, but you can purchase the originals as digital downloads. Do note that after 3 months, we’ll delete the photos from our database, so don’t forget to check and buy ASAP!
